Kigali Daily News (KDN) is a premier independent digital news publication headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, dedicated to delivering forensic political reporting, in-depth regional security analysis, economic insights, cultural commentary, and comprehensive sports coverage across East Africa and the Great Lakes region.
Our Mission

Editorial Independence & Standards
KDN operates under rigorous editorial independence. We maintain strict separation between our newsroom and commercial advertisers, sponsors, or external political organizations:
- Multi-Source Verification: Our journalists and analysts verify facts across primary sources, diplomatic reports, field witnesses, and documented evidence before publication.
- Neutrality & Fairness: We provide fair voice to multiple perspectives in controversial reporting while upholding historical facts and verified occurrences.
- Corrections Policy: We are committed to transparency. When factual errors occur, we correct them swiftly and provide clear explanatory notes for our readership.
